Thank you for the reply. That's what I was thinking but last thing I want is Coolant all over the trunk. 98 Boxster - is the year.
Drain or not to Drain that is the question?
-
Anyone know if you have to drain the coolant and remove the coolant reservoir to be able to replace the coolant level sensor?
Step by step on replacing this sensor would be more helpful.

thans for the suggestion, tried that too, but the horn goes off when I removed the bracket and leave the battery hooked up. So no way the braket is making contact. Got to be a short somewhere, i'm guessing.

Bummer, tried he gasket approach twice and finally just ordered a new airbag bracket. Now the horn stays on constant. Had to pull the fuse. took the airbag and bracket out and unplug the braket, and darn horn still goes off. what's the deal?
Temp Light Blinking
in 986 Series (Boxster, Boxster S)

Have the small issue - slow blinking temp light, right after start up. Coolant level is fine. Already replaced radiator cap, and just replaced the coolant level sensor (can be done without draining coolant). light still blinking. Thoughts?
