  2. real possibility You could check if the manual raising switch works, it is in the foot well on the wheel arch side

Hi Having same problem Alternator AWOL going Thursday for new one, total fitted around 650 euros As for your hood, if you can leave it open it will make life easier, if the battery goes dead and hood locked, bonnet can be opened manually from behind bumper, there is a small metal cable, just need to know where it is and find it, then pull on it and it will open the hood. The problem is that if you use your car with low battery, the computer will stop working and so is your car so make sure the battery is fully charged for your repair trip. Hope it will be sorted soon for you
