  1. Hi, I have been having trouble with my roof (02, 2.7 Boxster), eventually tracked it down to a split plastic cog ( see photo) in the RHS transmission gearing. Can anybody help source one of these - anybody got an old transmission laying around they could dismantle and mail the part. I live in Dubai and would send the funds via paypal. Thanks Simon
  2. Hi, I am about to replace the ddor latch / lock mechanism as the window does not stay down when the handle is lifted. Thanks to other posts I now have the door panel removed. I have disconnected the small tab to the handle but do not see an easy way to remove the cable to the key lock. Does anybody have advice, pics, diags or anything that could help? Thanks Simon
  3. Yeah, understand, happy to do this until I find a decent repair shop with this equipment.
  4. Thanks - If i ever get any of those I will give it a try Simon
  5. Hi, when I bought my 02 boxster the parking module was disconnected. I connected both plugs and got a steady tone when in reverse - hence why they were disconnected. I get the same symptoms with either both plugs connected or with the parking sensor plug disconnected. I did a quick resistance check from the sensor plug and got an open circuit across every combination of pins. I am not sure if this is indicative of my problem as I do not know what values I should see across the pins. Can anybody help with what my next step in the diagnosis should be? Where is the connector break between the park assist module and the sensors? I looked behind the carpet trip in the rear hatch - nothing obvious. Thanks Simon
