Hi Richard, Not had this problem myself, but would think they are all related, and probably be caused by an earthing problem in the trunk area. Try your indicators & brake lights at same time, usually the brake lights will dim in time with the indicators if an earth wire has come off, loose or has corrosion where it connects to the body.
Given trunk, spoiler and break lights are all located in same area, I would bet they use a common earthing point so look in that area under carpets etc. Hope this helps. Regards Andy
