See below offset numbers for 996 rims (17inch) and 997rim (19inch) I intend to fit:

I have purchased 997 rims and trying to fit front, rear are ok but the front hit suspension see photo below.

Any assist would be great originals where 205/18 and trying to fit on 235/19.

I have just been told that I do not need spacers. However, I will need to roll the rear guards.

Can anyone tell me if 305 profile tires will fit after I roll the guard. My concern is that the new rims will be to close to inside and rub the wheel wall.

Any suggestions would be great?

According to the wheels you have shown me the 19 front wheels will stick out 7mm more than the 18’s its like putting a 7mm spacers on your current 18 inch wheels. That’s ok the additional 7mm that the 19’s will stick out will give it a nicer look than the 18’s. For the rear the wheels will stick out 13mm towards the outside and will also require 13mm towards the inside. So technically it looks like you don’t need any spacers, but my concern on the 99-01 Carrera is that the rear 19inch wheels may require fender rolling since that the 99-01 had less space in the wheel arch . Again I used the pictures to figure out the models .

I have Genuine 997 Rims [19 inch 235/35 and 305/30 | Genuine Part Number 997.362.156.0.04 and 997.362.156.0.06], photo attached and wish to fit to my Porsche 2001 Carrera 4 996. Can you please suggest the correct spacer for me to purchase? And suggested seller that can also ensure correct sizing and offset.

Hi Loren, I have tried 1352, did not work then tried 1351, 1354 and still no good just waiting for reset code to try again. Any other suggestions much appreciated?

Can you please assist my Carrera 4 has been sitting for a fews months and on startup it sounds as though the exhaust has broken/rust parts inside that has serious issues and extremely loud.

Please let me know what I should look for and if you think a whole new exhaust system is warranted as sounds as though issue is within actual unit.

Any suggestion / upgrades would be appreciated as it is extremely loud and embarrassing to drive at the moment :(

We stripped carpet back and wires are all in tack after 10cms and full wiring loom replacement would probably not be required. Problem we encountered while we were inspecting car is a small electrical burn now coming from Passenger Side Dash.

The Control Alarm Box below has seen better days and curious if you guys believe water caused the issue with small fire to control unit box or if you believe it sounds as though it is coming from the dash component?

We are looking to purchase this from insurance company reason now for very discounted price :notworthy: we are curious as to issue with wiring if it is worth pursuing to repair (obtaining part pay down by insurance from portion of payout) or to leave it as is:

I have been told that replacement of Control Alarm Box does not necessary fix the solution as the wiring harness must also be coded or talk to the control box. Is that the case?

The wires seem slightly corroded and the car will not start. Dash lights illuminate and I have disconnect Control Box. The door has a clicking noise and will not open.

I understand I need to have control box M535 changed that needs to be coded to new key form but curious as to your thoughts to the following:

1) Cost in replacing with new control unit and wiring loom?

2) How far does the wiring loom run if needs full replacement?

Interested in your suggestions and projected cost in fixing the above.
