is replacing the ignition switch a diy job, or is it more complicated than that?? my 98 box is still alive and kicking at over 142 k miles.

well, after over 141k miles, the starter is beginning to run about a second after the engine fires up. does this mean i will need a new starter?? if so how much labor will be needed to replace it? sunset porshe has a"reasonable" price for a new one. btw i have a 98 met black with beige interior that i have had for 10 years and one month.

i had a free inspection of my boxster yesterday, and they informed me that none of the
brake lights worked, and it was most likely a brake light switch failure. where is this swithch located?? is there an obvious way to tell if it is faulty?? :huh:

I have a damaged front bumper that i need to get rid of. it is plastic, but it does not have the american triangle for recycling. monday is my trash pick up. being a tree hugger i would like to put in the proper bin...

good morning, has anyone in the sfbay area tried replacing their top with one of the ones available on ebay? my son managed to shatter the plastic rear window. plastic vrs glass, how difficult was it to replace? tia jaime howell
