Will the Durametric reset the Airbag light on a 986?
-
I have had continuing trouble with the turn signal lever not returning, despite installing a new turn signal switch. I notice that the airbag contact spring assembly has a flange which into the area where the "finger" of the turn signal pushes towards the steering column when turn signal is activated. This flange is badly chipped - perhaps because it has been tightened down when the turn signal finger was deployed? Does pressure from the flange on the finger press it onto the rotating steering column to cancel the turn signal?
Thanks
Airbag Warning leads to ECU replacement?

WOW. My Boxster is Australian, so I don't know if we have the seat buckle interlocks, as seatbelt wearing is compulsory here. Seems as though I need a Duratech. I guess when there is a hardware failure in the airbag/sensor/harness, then the light will not go off?
