  1. Thanks for the counsel, guys! Turned out the reservoir was basically dry. Fluid saved the day. On to the rest of the resto.
  2. There's no way to close the loop? There's not a dealership anywhere around these parts and the car isn't quite driveable yet.
  3. Hello folks, I am working on my 1999 C4 Cabrio and am at an impasse. The bracket that held the the main bow of the top broke. I replaced it with a simple bracket to get the top functioning again. It went up and down flawlessly, then I put the car away for a week. The battery was weak and when I went to restart the car and drop the top it failed to drop. The clam shell opens, the latch unlocks.. then nothing. I had the top in a middle position for an extended period when I was trying to fix it. Did I create a problem? Is there a way to manually lower the top? What might this be? Thanks. Seth
