Hello Casper, apologies for reviving an older thread but if you're still looking for wiring diagrams for your Targa, our new Porsche 996 manual has a 234 page Electrical Wiring Diagram section. You can pick it up through the RennTech.org Amazon store: http://www.renntech.org/forums/spoffers/amazon/

A bit late to the party but figured I'd jump in and let you all know that the Bentley manual for the Porsche 996 is out now and available through the RennTech.org Amazon store: http://www.renntech.org/forums/spoffers/amazon/
If you have questions about what's in the book, let me know and I can try & answer them!

Maurice @ Bentley;
When and where (library) will it be available in Canada?
Martin in BC
Hello Martin! Amazon US is about to get a re-supply of the manual this week, I believe it will be soon afterwards that Amazon.ca will get their supply. If you're in a pinch, you can always get it from us as well.

How much information is there on Targas? The manual would be worth the price even if it could only tell me how to adjust the back window so it doesn't squeak in the winter.
The manual has a 19 page section specifically covering the Targa top and sunroof, including removing and installing the top glass panel. However, we don't have a section covering the rear window.

OK, we've checked over the samples and they look terrific! The books are on their way to our warehouse and we're expecting to start sending out pre-orders within the next several business days.

Hello there! I'm the sales & marketing manager for Bentley Publishers. Yes, after a long wait our 996 manual is about to come out in the next couple of weeks. I'm expecting to see our first sample copies from the printer within the next day or so but if you have any questions about what's in the book, post them here and I'll try to answer them.

I'm the sales & marketing manager at Bentley. We're pretty psyched to finally be getting this manual out the door and on its way to the printers. If anyone has any questions about the book (what's in it, what not in it, etc...) feel free to post them here and I'll do my best to answer them.
