I have two DTCs on  my 2011 Cayenne that I need advice about. The codes are P0456 and P053C. The car runs fine. Are there any preventative repairs I should undertake?

Hello, 

My 2011 Cayenne’s blower motor starts up and stops intermittently. I found the following DTCs:

3201f4

008304

Can anyone help me decipher these codes? Do i need to replace the blower motor? Appreciate any help...

Thanks Loren. I did see this excellent video but there are two things that concern me. First, the Cayenne in the video looks like a pre 2011 and the torque specs may have changed. Second the published Porsche torque values for a pre 2011 are different than directed by the video. The gentleman in the video says to torque the drain plug to 22 ft-lb and the file I am attaching from Porsche for that vehicle says 37 ft-lb. Thus, I am looking for someone with the Porsche workshop manual for a 958 v6 who can post the torque values. I have had a mechanic at a Porsche only shop over tighten my 996 drain plug and cause a lot of expensive repairs. So I worry about this stuff.....

I am planning on changing the oil on my 2011 Cayenne V6 and I am looking for the the torque specs on the drain plug and the oil filter (both oil filter drain and the housing itself). I have found the v8 torque spec posted online but not the V6. Anyone have the factory manual spec?

I have been surfing for two hours and this thread is the only one I found for a 2011 or newer car. I am new to the Cayenne DIY scene and will start to contribute once I get deeper into repairs. I have looked everywhere for the location of the brake fluid reservoir on a 2011 cayenne. Can someone please tell me where it is located. The owners manual only shows the power steering and coolant reservoir. Thanks for the help
