  1. Hello Everyone Again! I'm a little upset. My cayenne has 44k on the clock, and I'm getting a little sick and tired of this 2 to 3 second delay before take off. Anytime I make a turn and press the gas to go, there is this delayed reacation that I get before moving forward. It sometimes does it even when I'm just going straight. I've read online that there are some people that have fixed this issue with a software update to the DME? Is this true? I've even reset adaptations on the tranny. This seems to work for a few days then it goes right back to the delay again. Does anybody know what I can do to fix this issue? I've done some upgrades to the car, but this is even going on before when it was bone stock... Upgrades.... Fabspeed cat deletes Fabspeed maxflo exhaust system Agency cold air intake With these upgrades, I feel a big difference in initial thottle response, but the cayenne feels like someone has tide a chain to the rear bumper and will not let me accelerate with ease, like I'm pulling a boat or something. Anyone have any light they can shed on this topic? Thanks in advance....
  2. Hello Everyone! I just ran a diagnostic test on my 2005 Cayenne S with my durametric tool and I came up with the following 2 codes.... P0327Knock Sensor 1 Circuit Bank 1 or Single Sensor - Value below lower limit value, test conditions are not-completed, fault is currently active and is not causing a DTC light 907Load management operat. on vehicle electrical sys./DME control module - No additional fault status available, test conditions are not-completed, fault is currently active and is not causing a DTC light Anybody know what this is all about? I cleared all codes and will be running a test again tomorrow night after I get back from work. All your help is greatly appreciated.
  3. clarksongli, I agree with you. I was just looking for a deeper throated sound. I didn't expect it to sound like a Harley ..... I've done cat deletes on my Bmw's and full exhaust systems before! They all sounded bad ***! This is the first time I'm not satisfied with an exhaust sound. Maybe the cayenne is designed differently. Well I added a couple of bassani resonators right where my deletes are and they made everything just the way I wanted it to sound like. There high flow 300 cell resonators, now the exhaust note is deep and aggressive, without the Harley sound.
  4. Hello Renntech Peeps! I recently did a cat back delete with Fabspeed pipes. Result.... I hated the sound. I have a Porsche Cayenne S 2005 model... So I called Fabspeed and they told me I needed the complete system with mufflers to get that deep sound I'm looking for. They were nice and cut me a deal on system. Well, I added the system on, gorgeous system, I mean it looks sexy on the Porsche. But the sound is even louder now. It sounds more like a Straight Pipe sound that you hear on a Harley. I'm not sure why, but it is what it is. So i'm looking for any help or guidance on what type of resonator I can buy to quiet down the sound. My muffler shop said its not an issue they can add any universal resonator to the pipes. All help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! And for convo purposes, the fabspeed quality is bar none one of the best I've seen. The performance is even better then OEM. I haven't lost any power what so ever. Some people love the sound, but I'm looking for more of a deep purrrrr upon take off.
  5. Hello Everyone, I just did the coolant pipe upgrade kit. I actually bought more parts that were needed to do the job right. I changed the starter, thermostate, water pump and everything that possibly would break down the road. I have a 2005 Porsche Cayenne S with only 43k miles. That being said, I have a leak again. I just did the repair last week, and now with less then 500 miles, I have a pool of coolant in my garage. Is there something i'm missing here? My mechanic tells me he changed everything and double and tripled checked to make sure it was bone dry before I paid him. All you input is greatly appreciated. Cause I'm so upset, I spent a lot of money doing all this. Well its back at his shop now. And I let him have it, cause this is unexceptable. Does anybody know what else could be wrong? Thanks in advance...
