I recently purchased a 2003 996 TT 12k miles garage queen. It is way too quiet, I have a 911SC that sounds better. Considering putting 200 cell sport cats(Fabspeed HJS) and muffler bypass pipes. It was performance tuned by Behe and it runs great, absolutely no turbo lag. My concern is that I do not want to create a problem with low end torque, since this is for street use, by reducing the backpressure too much. Anyone have experience with muffler bypass pipes. Another alternative is to go with Fabspeed Muffler bypass X pipe or the Maxflow Muffler. I would appreciate any info to guide me since it can be a costly mistake.

I recently purchased a 2003 996 twin turbo with 12k miles garage queen no track use. It was performance tuned by Behe and it runs great no turbo lag. However, the car is way too quiet (I also have a 911SC that sounds better than the turbo). I am thinking of either putting 200 cell sport cats(Fabspeed HJS) and muffler bypass pipes. Anybody have any experience with the bypass pipes? My fear is I will lose too much low end torque if I reduce the back pressure that much. The other option I am considering is the Fabspeed muffler bypass X pipe or Maxflow muffler. Anybody have any experience or knowledge about any of these options? Thanks for any help.
Is this droning?

Droning is the harmonic resonance usually from aftermarket exhausts. Does anyone have any experience with the Dynatech Vortex Cone insert? Wondering if it would reduce the 2-3k rpm drone
