  1. It's a well known fact that Hitler and Porsche worked together on the people's car-Volkswagen and assorted Jeep-type vehicles and several tanks. Hitler built Porsche a huge factory for manufacturing and staffed it with labor camp labor. Also Porsche manufactured some V2 Rockets in this huge facility (which was later bombed out by the US.

    Hitler also made Porsche a Colonel in the SS, but agreed that Porsche did not have to wear the uniform because he was not a political person..just an engineer.

    It's a fascinating series. The hour with Porsche is Chapter 4.

    Maybe it's all in Karl's book as well, but I've never seen it there.

    Who the heck is Adolph? I've heard of some Adolf guy before... ;)
