  1. I have done 2 others since mine, and found a easier way to do it..

If you take the new strips and line them up with the ones in the dash,

you can see exactly where the screws are. Then take a small drill bit and drill

the holes out until you reach the tip of the screw. Then take a larger drill bit out

make a bigger hole. One this is done you can pry the hole thing out with a flat head

screwdriver. Once I got the first one out the rest just popped out by pulling.

Also if you like to switch back and fourth from Carbon to Aluminum thats not a problem cause your not screwing the new ones in, just a little glue to hold them, its a tight fit as it is. I'll post pics later.. rennlist gallery is down again :(

  2. Also a FYI for you guys our car has a motion detector.. when the top is down and you lock the car with the remote the motion detector inside is diabled. If you get out of the car reach over and hold that same switch up as you arm the alarm it will trick into thinking the top is closed and it will arm the motion detector. I dont understand why they would disable this feature when the top is down.. probably don't want to deal with people bringing there cars in for false alarms...

PS The windows still hold up at 120mph :)

  3. Well it wasn't real easy but having 4 hands is helpful...

First remove the bumper and headlights... several screws are removed from inner wheel wells in order to get to the screw that hold the bumper in place, Once those are removed there is a plastic release then holds the bumper slides in & out of on the sides... As one holds the bumper, the other guy detached tubing if you have pop up headlight washers, also remove one wire harness if you have PDC...

    ags.sized.jpg

Once off.. then drill holes on the inside where they are clearly marked for you... Different size holes are need for propper fitment.

    agu.sized.jpg

Then attach plate and attach round washers once plate is in...

Use a socket and a hammer to lock down those large washers...

    agy.sized.jpg

Also where the tow hooks are, that area around where the exsiting cover was needs to be cut so that the plate sits flush on the bumper.. as seen here...

    agw.sized.jpg

Then put her all back together..

Also I changed out the H11 Fog lights to match the Bi-Xenons color now..

And it will look like this..

Only good pic I have from a distance since I installed before my race last weekend..

  5. This is the piece on the drivers side that has the manual trunk/engine release..

    And memory seats...

There are three holes I peeked in one and can't tell what kind of screw, nut, hex, whatever is in there.. its also way in there so a long head is needed to get to it..

The one in the middle may be difficult to get to... does the seat have to come out?

Here is a pic of the whole piece out of the car...(replacing the last speckled grey piece in the car)

Pic of the slot where screw goes in..
