  1. OK I changed out my fog lights in my 996 to match the Litronics in color and brightness.. So I thought I would do the same for the Cayenne.. ok out comes the manual.. takes a H11.. ok nice pics on how to change all bulbs accept the fog lights!! Anyone have one burn out yet, and if so how the hell do you get to the thing.. does the whole bottom black piece have to come off?

  2. Wow for the life of me I couldn't get the relay panel out... it seems the left side is locked in somehow, Toolpants whats the trick on that one?

Loren the picture from under the seat, I assume thats coming from the main box under the seat, not the wiring harness that are mounted to the seat.. the only way to get that box is to pull the drivers seat out? All for a reverse wire... hmmm Any thoughts guys?

    Box under the seat..

  3. Here is my how to on Installing them..

First remove the old sill. just stick a screwdrive under the metal and it pops up. Then remove the 2 hex screws that are holding the plastic sill down.

You can't remove this hole piece, just pop it out from the front area. You just need to drill a hole in this corner.. so lift it while your drilling.. the wire runs through this drilled hole

Get some double sided tape and put this little box in the second to last box..

Run the supplied wire up into the fuse box area.. then over to the footwell light

Now I got power from the entry lights underneath the steering wheel..

The book has you tapping into other sources in the door harness, but this was much easier..

I spliced into the footwell light under the wheel here

Hide all the wires and your finished!!

That is about it.. for the passanger side.. do the same thing and tap into the footwell lighting..afx.sized.jpg

  4. Hey Jeff.. how do you reset the airbag light.. I installed a Carbon Fiber on my friends, I took it for a drive to make sure the wheel was straight, I didn't tighten the airbag down, in case I had to adjust the wheel.. anyway a few miles into it, I forgot and punched it.. of course the airbag flew into my lap, and unplugged.. Its in the garage now, with battery disconnected... I tried a battery reset but that didn't work.. does the dealer need to reset it? Or will it clear in the morning?
