Hello everyone,
My 5th 911 (87 & 89 Targa's, 89 Turbo, 00 996) 99 vert. Recently, the last two times I drove the car my top went down fine and then when arrived at my work the top would not go back up. Nothing at all just the blinking vert light. Car was in park, e-brake engaged, tried rocker and key. I went into work, at lunch went out and it worked fine. Thought it was a one time thing. So now it happened again...same sequence, waiting around 30 minutes and then it goes up like normal. No noises, flaps, clamshell etc, working like normal. Any ideas? Thanks to reply.
Happy Sunday to all!!!
Cheers....jason

Ok here is the list of parts:
1. Micro switch
2. Clamshell clips
3. Motor
That is why the top would work and then have to wait till the motor cooled down to work again.
Thanks again for your help everyone.
All my best...jason
