I tried the link noted for PIWIS but got this 'The website declined to show this web page'. Not sure how to get around that one. What I am trying to do is put a set of 2010 997 GT3 adaptive sport seats in my 2009 Cayman S with standard seats. I need to know the pin-outs/wiring diagrams for the main seat connectors, the large yellow ones.

I used GE once and had good luck with them. They paid for a transmission repair with no problems. The dealer said they were easy t work with.

Isn't there something in the owner's manual about adjusting the lights? It seems there is a sequence with the lights and ignition key.

I know of two people that used Motormeister, I would go elsewhere.

How much time is on the brake fluid?

Thanks for the input guys. The TBS doesnt help a whole lot as it basically seems to do a diagnostic before replacing the antenna booster.

I am going to try the sanding method and removal of my cellphone charger next.

If anyone has any other ideas, I'm all ears.

Do you have anything plugged into the cig lighter? Mine did the same thing with a radar detector, when I unpluged it, problem gone. Wireless detectors for me!

Oh, and Chris, I'm still loving those GHL Louds especially with the K&N CAI :)

I recently purchased a set of high flow cats for the 02 996. When I started to install them I found that the O2 sensors would not connect like the OEM cats. The sensor down stream of the header connects to the same OE location. However the sensor after the cat will now have to hook to the opposite side due to the sensor location in the pipe. The sensor bung on the driver side cat lies directly beneath the passenger side O2 sensor, the reverse for the other side. In effect the muffler side sensors will be crossed. Of course I could splice and lengthen the wires but I'd rather not modify the OE wires.

Any thoughts on this being an issue as the cross is after the cats. Still kind of strange.

I had Sumi's on my 02 996 and they weren't bad at all.

Putting a wrap on your headers is a good way to shorten their life.

Not an answer to your question but I rencently put the X74 package on my 02 996 and it is great. Way better than the stock musho suspension.

MY02 and newer have the MOST fiber optic system - which are difficult to work around since you end up disabling the fiber optic system to hardwire in a conventional system.

Thanks for the info. I thought the '02' did not have the MOST system.

I just tried to loosen the nut and the bolt just broke off. Now I have a loose tip and the need to drill out the old bolt and install a new one. At least that way if the new bolt coms loose a bit I won't have to worry about the tip coming off at speed on the highway since the slot will still be intact.

By any chance have you looked at your oil. Probably not an issue but it might be worth checking for any signs of contamination.

Also might want to prressure test the system to see if it is holding pressure.

If the coolant is leaking while the car is hot you may not see anything.

When you activate the ABS you move fluid throught the system. As such when you bleed the brakes after the ABS hs been ingaged you do a partial flush on the ABS unit. Stands to reason that after several flushes a good portion of the original fluid in the ABS system would be replaced.

Is it perfect, no. But it would help.

I have the same issue with my Agency Power links. It is also odd that both ends do not have the same size threads.

You have to ask yourself how many engines have been built and how many had the same failure? Not many I would guess.

With a new engine you start form zero, not a bad thing. I wouldn't sell.

I took a Cayman S out for a test drive and I agree. It would make a fun track car.

The $100.00 kits on eBay are not real B&M. I asked the guy and he said it is high quality 'no name brand'

I was in the same situation and decided to go with GT3 bars along with PSS9's. For links I went with the Agency Power adjustable llinks.

I had a hard time deciding between the X74 and the PSS9's.

Where can I get the 3rd radiator kit from the US?
