    Hi jgiles25,

Are they tutorials for this specific dashkit though? This isn't the factory HU, this is an aftermarket HU with brackets holding it in place. I've done more research since posting the topic and I believe the dashkit I have is the EuroMotorSport one seen here on Suncoast: http://www.suncoastparts.com/product/EMSRA.html?Category_Code=987_interiorPCM

I have tried removing it via pressing in and out on the four clips shown in my pictures but I have not had any luck. I have also tried looking for screws on the side of the brackets but there don't appear to be any. It seems that the brackets allow the double din HU to slide in and lock into place via the clips but I can't seem to reverse this process to remove the HU from the brackets.

My goal here is to plug in an iPhone charging cable to the back of the HU.

Edit: Found the solution thanks to a user at Planet-9.

I was pulling on the wrong clips. The protruding four clips with lips them are only to latch the faceplate around the radio, not to keep the radio in the dash. The clips you want are marked #2 in this image:

    End result:
