Found a very nice set of wheels....
Need to figure out if they are hollow spoke or solid and the sizes..
Seller really doesn't have an understanding of what I am looking for..
Here are the part numbers from the back of the wheels
99336213405
99336213800 also 9933621400A
So what is the verdict?
Thanks

Try checking your spark plugs.
A loose plug can cause a high pitched squeal...changes with RPMs
I had a similar noise and found two loose plugs.

Thanks for the quick reply
My current Boxster is a 2003S I purchased a few months ago...it is the lowest optioned BoxsterS I have ever seen.
Bose Stereo and Wind blocker....that's it.
So obviously a little tinkering is in order.
A 4 stalk is needed!
I am getting a used stalk from a buddy who just completed building a spec Boxster.
I will be getting all the wiring complete to the dash plugs too.
I live in Auburn now.
I met you years ago at a home in Almaden Valley...
Henry was his name I believe....also met ToolPants there
At that time I had a 1999 Box

I know OBC can be initialized prior to installing a switch or stalk, with OAT being the default.
Can the cruise control be initialized in the dash and DME prior to installing the 4 stalk?
Loren, do you still live in Roseville area?

Ok
So on another set of wheels
8x18et50
10x18et 65
would those fit without spacers or would I need 12-13mm spacers for the rear?
Thanks again

Turbo or turbo look wheels?

You are correct Loren
Second number is 140.01
I assume on wheels with both of the second set of numbers is the 10" variety
I believe I had a set of those rear wheels on my '99 996..
Hollow spoke
