Does anyone know if the 997 Clear Markers will fit on the 996 Models? I dont think they will but was told they can. Can anyone clarify for me.

Also does anyone know how to take them off. I just dont want to break anything while trying it.

There's in the front part of the inner wheel well, near the side marker a small ( approx. 4 mm diameter ) black plastic insert. Remove the insert and push with a small screwdriver the lock spring of the marker backwards ( in the direction of the front of the car ) while pulling the marker out of the fender. 997 and 987.

No! The 997 and 996 side marker lights are not interchangeable

No! The 997 and 996 side marker lights are not interchangeable
