the clutch on my 2005 997 is a little hard to press and what is really strange is that each time I get it washed the clutch feels lighter for a while.

I am was thinking something might need a little lubrication, what do you think?

Porsche clutches which are hard to press, are in most of the cases worn out, the harder the pressure is the more worn the clutch is (pressure plate).

This is true. I just had the pressure plate replaced along with a new clutch kit/release bearing on my 05 C2S (which has a different clutch than the C2), and the clutch pedal effort dropped by about 20% after the replacement. If you're used to BMWs (like I am), the clutch pedal effort is noticeably higher, but not unreasonable by any means.
