Sport exhaust Qs

Does anyone know if the sport exhaust for 03 is compatible with an 00 S?. I believe that it has a dash mounted switch for loud/soft mode.

Has anyone made a switch for the older sport exhaust that would do this??

I know some have just wired it open (loud).

Can't help as I have not yet seen the new sport exhaust and I have not seen a Porsche TSB on it.

A few years ago there was a Boxster guy with a sport exhaust who wired in a switch. He did not use a dash switch, but had a radio shack switch located near the rear storage box above the engine. He had a site but I cannot find it.

I stay away from electrical stuff, but I think a switch wired into the relay might be what you want.

The new 996 sport exhaust uses a switch. I wonder if you can use the switch kit from a 996 on the old Boxster sport exhaust? Maybe Gert knows as he sells the kit. Jeff
