p1341 code engine cuts off at 4k rpms

Recommended Posts

so another issue with the Porsche if anyone could chime in that would be great. fixed the car after it was in am accident took it down the road first couple times it pulled great no issues at all, after fourth or fifth time giving it some gas at 4k rpms engine cuts off as if traction control is kicking in, but under 4k it drives great, check engine light came on and it came up with p1341 code which is the camshaft bank one code, alot of people are writing that it could be loose wires or bad wire or the actuator which im willing to check. my problem is i have no clue where the sensor is so i can check the wires and what not, if someone has had this issue or could point me in the right direction i would very greatly appreciate it.

Here is the position of the solenoid on each bank and I also include a copy of the diagnostic manual for this specific problem your having....This solenoid aloud oil pressure from the engine to operate the cam advance system as per ECU demand....
