C4S? What's with the rear reflector?

I was trying to find out why the C4S was designed with the reflector strip on the rear... Safety in bad weather conditions? Or did they run out of sheet metal and all they could find were leftovers from a 993 in the parts bin..?

Style, and a way to differentiate the "4" from the "2".

I think that it is one of the things that makes a C4S look great from the back.

In my opinion, the back of a Cab is nowhere near as nice looking as a Hardtop, but the red stripe and the wide rear of the C4S Cab makes the Cab look alot better.

I also think that the spoiler on a TT makes the back of a Cab look better, but the hardtop still look the best.

(Please note that my car is a Cab.)
