Porsche stays true to RR and if there's a really established legacy, it will definitely be the 911.

Boxster roots back to 1950 550 Spyder but what does anyone think about the chances of it becoming like the 944 or 928?

I think it is unlikely given the fact that Porsche is diversifying itself so much including producing cayenne and about to produced 4 door sedan version.

Who knows.

Did we know that the 928 and the 944 were going to die (before the last year or two of their production)?

If the Boxster dies (and I don't think it will anytime soon) then they will probably realize that they need a less expensive (than the 911) model in the line-up and make something similar.

Just my opinion.
