Radio Help One speaker not working?

Recommended Posts

Need some help. Bought a 2003 Boxster last fall. Car was a one owner car and appears to have the original radio and amp completely intact. It has a CDR23 the Porsche Becker amp and the MOST system. It has the factory front speakers as well as the door speakers. I would like to put rear speakers in. My problem is that I am not getting any sound out of the right dash speaker. The pins on the yellow block look correct. I did try the swap to see if the left speaker would work on the right side and vice versa. Both speakers worked on the left and not on the right. (I also tried the fader and the left right balance controls every combination possible). Any ideas? I see in the wiring diagram a diagnostic hookup, anyone ever try this? Thx

Mine did the same thing. I decided to upgrade the radio and speakers and now I have sound in all 4 speakers. It turns out my drivers side on the stock radio decided it didn't want to work any more. Upgrade the system, you will glad you did.
