osunick replied to Georgeramosjr's topic in 92A (Cayenne, Cayenne Diesel, Cayenne S, Cayenne Turbo, Cayenne S Hybrid)Be careful, when I pulled mine to wire the dash cam it took a lot of force because the springs were deformed. When the light came out the springs cut a pretty deep gash into my palm.
osunick posted a topic in 92A (Cayenne, Cayenne Diesel, Cayenne S, Cayenne Turbo, Cayenne S Hybrid)My PCM 3.1 is occasionally wonky where it shows a location several miles away from my actual location. I want to check the antenna and possibly replace it. Thanks! -n.
osunick replied to osunick's topic in 92A (Cayenne, Cayenne Diesel, Cayenne S, Cayenne Turbo, Cayenne S Hybrid)Success! There's a handy 12v barrel jack for power. Converted this to USB using a converter and CCTV barrel connectors and now theres an iPad there.
I'm looking for a heat shield that comes riveted to the front exhaust support (center muffler) on a 2011 997 Turbo S. See attached for pics. The support is stamped with 997.113.027.31 but when I order the part the riveted heat shield isn't included, nor does the part number for the heat shield appear in any catalog. Is this a part that is no longer necessary? Thanks in advance.
osunick replied to osunick's topic in 92A (Cayenne, Cayenne Diesel, Cayenne S, Cayenne Turbo, Cayenne S Hybrid)Hey, thanks. This doesn't help because I just need to be able to physically remove the device without damage. An installation manual or upgrade manual for from the PRSE to the 2nd generation PRSE would be super helpful.
osunick posted a topic in 92A (Cayenne, Cayenne Diesel, Cayenne S, Cayenne Turbo, Cayenne S Hybrid)Hi all, Anyone know or have access to the installation docs for the Porsche Rear Seat Entertainment system, circa 2011? I know there's an updated version that is available as a retrofit, but I can't find documentation or TSBs for either setup. I'd like to remove the PRSE and use the power for an iPad holder. Thanks! -n.
