  1. The audio problem is fixed in a strange way. The problem started when I tried to jump start the car and accidentally reverse the electrical polarity. It burned audio fuse in the fuse box as well as the fuse in the PCM module. Still the audio didn't work, showing message "The error message: CD-changer, Amplifier not found..". Tried with replacement amp and cd-changer, but still didn't work. The other problem I had was that the Car won't take gas even the gas tank was empty. Found out from the forum that E6 fuse in the fuse box will solve the problem and it did... The funny thing is that when I replaced the E6 fuse, the audio system started to work. And is now working just fine. I don't know if E6 fuse has something to do with the audio system, but I just want to share for those who may have the same problem.
  2. Dear Richard, You are right. The glass fuse on the back of the CD changer was burned out. However, after replacing the fuse the CD Changer still didn't work. It seems that there is no power when checked with multimeter. Also when I press CD changer cartridge eject button, there is no response. Meaning no power. Any ideas?
  3. I can't find a fuse on the amp. Is there a fuse on the amp? Anyone know?
  4. Is there a fuse on the amp? I remove the amp, but wasn't able to locate any fuses.
  5. 2004 911 40th Anniversary Edition. Recently tried to jump start the car and accidentally reverse the + and - during clamping. The entire system shorted. Replaced the fuse including the fuse behind the PCM module. Navigation and other work fine once the fuses were replaced, but no sound. The error message: CD-changer, Amplifier not found.... (Amplifier model: 996.645.333.05) The auto mechanic told me that I may need to change the amp and/or CD-changer because it is fiber optics system. Any suggestions on fixing this problem? Thank you in advance for your help...
