  1. I started my Cayenne this afternoon and as I pulled away the engine cut out. Stopped the car, put it in park and tried to restart. It happened again, and again. The engine seems to idle for about 20 seconds before struggling and cutting out. No vibrations, just cuts out. I managed to drive 50 metres with intermittent stop-and-start, hoping it was just struggling to get fuel circulating, but then discovered water coming out of the exhaust. I have an LPG conversion and when I switch to LPG the car idles fine, I just don't have enough LPG in the tank to drive it anywhere. There are no electrical faults coming up so I'm guessing it's mechanical. My concern is that there is water in the fuel, after filling up with a full tank yesterday evening. Having a chat with my mechanic tomorrow but he's not a Porsche expert, so I just wanted to gauge any ideas before delving further into the car. I won't be driving or towing it to the garage in fear of more possible contaminated fuel circulating. Thanks in advance for any advice given! Kayleigh
  2. I've just had the ABS pump changed in my 04 Cayenne S. All seemed fine until I opened the windows and the driver window button opens the passenger side and vice versa. The mirrors have completely changed too - when I move the mirror knob up, it moves right.. Move up it right and it moves down etc. I don't even know what else may have been affected until I come across it. Any ideas how this may have happened and how I can rectify? Thanks in advance, Kayleigh
  3. Hi, thanks for getting back to me. We did try looking into recoding but the problem is we couldn't communicate with the module - it's like there was no power getting to it as it just wasn't getting picked up. The problem started when temperatures were extremely cold when we travelled to Europe earlier this year. Could you offer any guidance on the part numbers too please? All I know is that the part number 7L0907379BF relates to the 3.2 model, but could I replace with anything other than a part number ending in E that is currently in my car? Really appreciate your help. Kayleigh
  4. Hoping someone might be able to offer some advice. The ABS light comes up on my Cayenne on starting the engine, followed the PSM light. Having thoroughly searched the problems online and trying to diagnose the issue, I'm now looking at getting a replacement part. When checking the car with a Porsche diagnostic tool, it is unable to communicate with the ABS module. First though, I'd like to check the fuse. Could anyone point me to where this is located? I can't find the corresponding number to the pump in the manual. If the fuse appears to be ok, the next step is the replacement pump/control module. The part number is 7L0907379E.. Could anyone tell me what the implication would be of replacing with a part number ending in a different letter? Sorry if it's a silly question.. I'm normally pretty good at replacing the parts but this one has stumped me! Thanks, Kayleigh
