  1. Have been chasing misfires on my 2003 Turbo for over a year now. The CEL only flashes about once a week but the car surges a bit at low rpm with light throttle input. (unless I'm cruising between 2800-3000rpm which is rare) I've been able to pinpoint that the CEL only flashes during partial throttle acceleration and at steady state cruising between 2000 and 3000rpm. If I cruise between 2800-3000rpm it will flash multiple times a minute, and buck slightly. When I pull the codes it's misfiring on cylinders 1, 2 and 3. The car performs flawlessly with higher throttle inputs and in boost. It's never thrown a misfire code while in boost. Performance wise the car was bone stock when the random misfires started and since has a Cobb tune and exhaust. Plugs and coils were all changed last year when the issue first cropped up and there was no change. Have pressure tested the engine up to 1.5 bar, with no leaks. Replaced the drivers side cam solenoid (the one with the bracket in between the coils for cylinders 1 and 2) I'm temped to try and change the cam actuator on the drivers side bank (right under intake/MAF), but don't want to keep throwing parts at it. Any idea before I just blindly buy more parts?
