  1. Hi,

i have a 2006 Cayenne. the cayenne runs dry. after i filled the tank again with gasoline the car doesnt start. i checked both connetctors on the right and left side on the pumps. by starting the engine or doing the ignition on i have 0V on the connector so i was thinking both relay are damage. i change the relays but still don't get 12V on the connector. i open the old relays put the relays back in and press the relays manually  and both pumps are running.i checked also all fuses and they are OK. the relays have 5 pins

Pin 1 color code red had 12V

Pin 2 color code green blue had 0V this cable goes to the onboard network J13 and from there to the ECU it had also 0V by starting the engine

Pin 3 color code red is a thick cable termial 30 had 12V

Pin 4 is the switch and is not connected to the fuse box

Pin 5 red/black is the cable what runs to the fuelpump and had only then 12V if i press it manually.

can it be that the shutdown valve make the problems? where is the Valve located??? can be also the power supply relay be damaged and if so where is that located?

i dont have the porsche diagnostic tool so i have to find the problem old school

the symtoms are follow is the engine is cold everything works perfect but if the engine is heating up the rpm drops during the driving back to 900 rpm. i can play with the accelaration pedal nothing happens after 3 seconds but he pick up the rpm for a short spin of 50 yards then the same happen.

    thanks

  3. hi,

i have a Porsche cayenne of 2006 and have some problems with the air suspension. i changed all seals and the airspring in the front and yesterday everything was ok. today i went to the car and the airsuspension in the front was down again. i start the engine and touched the leveler  to raise up the car. i heard how the compressor was working but the front suspension stay down. after a while the light for the ABS and Traction control went on and the speedometer went up to 90mph. the ABS light and traction control light stay now on and in the dash comes the message PSM failure. if i use now the leveler to bring down the car or i would try to raise it up nothing happens not even the compressor comes on. i disconnect the Battery for 5 minutes and start the car again. the compressor work but only a very short time  and the car don't raise up. i can push the leveler in every position and nothing happen. i hook up the VCDS and choose the Touareg 7L from 2003-2006 but i can only read out the ABS and it show ABS wheel speed sensor front left and both in the rear implausible signal also it showed tiptronic switch F189 implausible signal. had that something to do with the air suspension? do i need hear the OEM Software of Porsche and if it is so can someone PLEASE send me a link where i can buy it? i changed 2 years ago the valve block. can i change the lines from the valveblock from the front to the rear that i get air pressure on the front springs to see whether a leak is there or how i can get air in? if someone have technical information about the air suspension Please send it to me and i will donate again.

    many thanks for every help

  4. i have a 2006 Porsche Cayenne 4.5 V8 Bi-Turbo.

after i parked the car overnight the front suspension goes down and the rear stay up. the display show nothing about a failure. if i start the engine the front goes up and after a short while i hear that by the passenger side airfilterbox the air get short release again. the whole suspension is working perfect only that the fron goes down over night. i sprayed all lines and airbags in with dish liquid to see whether there is a leak but i didn't find anything. can it be that the regulation valve is not proper working or the little valves on the strut?

    please help!!!

  5. i filled the Water reservoir until the max. mark. the max. was still above the water. i start the engine and after the temperature went up to 180F the thermostate open and the temp went down to 170F. after a while the temp goes up until 190-195F and before the Fan kicks in the water is coming out by the reservoir. The Water is not boiling if i stop the engine water goes down to the mark again. i let the engine now running until the water came up and squeezed with my  hand the waterhose driverside which goes to the thermostate. after 3 times the water came up it stop and the water level is in the middle between min.  and max. maybe i had somewhere an air package??? i will try it tomorrow again and see what happen.
