  1. Hadn't seen those one vfxbox, I did mean at the front where the bumber meets the underpart of the body, but I was mistaken as there are no fittings on there. I had only look briefly last time, was right underneath the car today so had a good look. Well I have put the splitters on the front of the car today, had to put the wheel arch liner back properly where my husband had taken it off and looked like it had thrown it back...you men, what are you like!! Have yet to travel at a higher speed to see if there is a difference in how she feels.
  2. Thanks for the reply, I thought as I had posted in the 986 Boxster section that I was part of the way there with you knowing what car I have??? For the record is it a '98 Boxster, RHD as I am in the UK. I read on another forum, and there is a picture with an air tunnel, and it shows that these flaps do make a difference to the air flow around the wheels, why put them there otherwise? Mine has been recently aligned and is spot on. Got my bits this morning and will be crawling around underneath the car later! Thanks for the reply
  3. Hi :D , first time poster on here, sorry to drag up an old topic (at least I used the search though!!) Having replaced my wheel arch liner on the offside I realised when looking at the old one that I had taken off that I am missing the parts on both sides labelled flap 1 in the picture above, I am going to order these tomorrow and they hopefully get rid of the wandering feeling at high speeds. My question is, are there any other sort of flaps on the car than runs across the middle, it looks as though there are fixing points for something to fit onto. I know that the MR2 roadster has the same sort of flaps in front of the wheels but also has an additional one across the middle as well. I appreciate there is a difference between the cars but the principle would be the same. Great forum, as someone who doesn't mind getting her hands dirty and saving a few pounds in maintenance it is great. Having to take my dash apart soon for a bulb that has gone out behind the speedo - instructions on here very useful.
