  1. unfortunately the window was left open and the (UK) sky's opened. The ACU seems dry although there is still moisture in the car/carpet so worth removing seat and drying out properly. Its just a case of trying to unlock and open the passenger door now to gain access and take things from there.
  2. Hi Richard, I was hoping it was not the ACU and have not taken the top off and dried. - Am I right in saying thats under the passenger seat and the seat needs to come out? my other problem is then unlocking the passenger door to get to it. I also forgot to mention both window regulators were replaced recently, i think the central was locking after they were replaced and only stopped after the car got wet and the alarm went off.
  3. Hi Daytona, thanks but unfortunately they don't double pull, they just remain locked....strange one! thx pdub
  4. Hi guys New to the forum, so hello! 2000 Boxster S (RHD) I have read through many central locking faults on this (and other) forums and although similar my problem is slightly different. The Long Story... The car got wet inside and the alarm went off, alarm and battery disconnected, re charged battery and replaced alarm and reconnected battery. - Now the central locking will not work, the red light on the dash works when pressing the keys but does not lock. - drivers side locks with key, passenger side remains unlocked The central locking not working the car remains unlocked and the central locking button on the dash did not work either after numerous attempts the only the other day as i sat at the lights i pressed the locking button and it locked (red light now on) and locked me in the car (nice!) the oly way to get out is to lower window and use the key....and the passenger door remains locked. I am able to get in and out as long as when i get into the car and leave the driver door open and turn ignition, the locks cycle and it allows the driver door to remain unlocked. - if I get in and close door then turn ignition then the drivers door locks and im locked in again! Funny as it maybe any help would be appreciated, if nothing else how to unlock the passenger door so I can get the panel off. Thanks in advance Paul
