  1. Yep, it's the correct badge for a European 914-6. In Europe, they recognized that the car was a cooperative venture between Porsche and VW, whereas, in the US the car was badged as a Porsche with the 914-6 rear emblem. See the Badge thread over on the 914World.com site. Auto Atlanta just received a shipment of replacement 914-6-VW-Porsche badges from Germany, in case anyone wants to rebadge their US 914-6!
  2. I just performed this procedure... How much patience do you have??? :>)) 1. Drop the Under Bumper Tray (1) and set aside with all bolts an screws carefully marked as to position... helps to jack up the front end on wheel ramps and lower securely. 2. Remove the Oil Cooler mounting bolts. Rather tricky, but can be done. DO NOT disconnect the oil lines!!! 3. Remove the small bolts holding the air director (49) (flexible plastic part) to the bumper support struts... 4. CAREFULLY work the air director piece out of the bumper cavity and set aside... 5. NOW, you can reach the 18 (yes, count 'em!) small philips head screws holding the Grill to the Bumper from the rear. Using a very good Philips Screw Driver, carefully remove each of these screws... PATIENCE Here!!! Reverse for reassemby!
