  1. Hello, I'm interested in purchasing a 2008 Boxster Limited Edition from an auto auction, but the badge that has the production number has been removed. I called Porsche of North America but they can't help me since I'm not the registered owner yet. The dealership couldn't help me either. Is there someone that can help decode the VIN to find out the production number, or that not possible? Any help is much appreciated!
  2. Hello, I have a 2010 GTS with 18Z front brake calipers. I was replacing the pads and when I went to compress one of the pistons, one of the opposite pistons squeezed completely out. Can I rebuild (install new seal where the calipers are) for this caliper? The dealership said no, but I see that people sell rebuild kits. Thanks
