  1. I have a problem with the 997.2 3,6 engine i get fault code 0300.0304.0305.0306. If i delete fault code when engine is cold, it works just fine until it gets hot. The problem only occurs when the engine runs at idling speed 650 to 700 rpm. If i carefully touch the throttle pedal so the idle speed rises to 750 rpm, the car will work perfectly. I have innstaled new spark plugs, Lambda, MAF and coils.
  2. We have an issue with a car with this engine swap. The car is a 99 996 with a 3,4 engine with dme 7.2 The new engine is from 2002 996 3.6 with dme 7,8. The car runs ok and everyting is working besides the air condition and cooling fans. In the wiring diagrams we can se that the triggering signal from the climatronic control goes in on pin 6 in the IV connector on the dme 7.2. But on the 7.8 this pin is not in use and there isnt any other pin`s that is for ac demand use. Ac relay out of the dme is located at pin 18 on the ll connector at the dme 7.8 but is relocated to pin 27 on the IV on dme 7.8. So we have the cable attached from the pinout (27.IV) to the Ac relay. but we are missing a place to input the signal from the climatronic computer. With the Durametric we can activate the ac compressor but only when the engine is not runing, sone as we start the engine the signal is gone. If we jumps the relay, the ac compressor is running fine and the fans are starting. Anyone knows where this triggering signal from the climatronic should be attached? (white/red wire) @Loren
  3. The car is identical 996 MY 2002 tiptronic, can i swap control module without program it with the orginal Porsche tool? I used durametric diagnostic tool. 4. I checked all the wiers, nothing wrong there. Nr 7 says replace tiptronic Control module. Can i try it in another car that is identical, or must it be programmed to the car? Knut
