Sorry, Chris. After reading my reply I realized it didn't come out as I meant. But you've answered the question perfectly. I looked at my factory stereo manual and you're right. I just need the plug in that has the extra rear outputs. Ordered today and I'lll update when I get it all together. Thank you for the help. Chaiyz -
There are unused direct to speaker outputs on your radio and you can connect to them? I'm aware of this because I have a fader that has no rear speakers. What I need to know is exactly where and which wires am I supposed to be using???? I don't want to do any more to the sound system but add the rear deck speakers at this time, I'm all set, but don't know where and I can't seem to find the answer anywhere. When you say unused direct to speaker outputs. I have no clue where because I've pulled the head before and saw just a plug into the unit that went to the AMP. Didn't have any extra wires that were not connected that I could see. I may be wrong but before I start taking it apart, I'd just like to have my ducks in a row. Thanks.

I recently upgraded the dash speakers and the sound was amazing. Made me want better rear imaging so I purchased 4 Kicker 3.5's and disassembled and installed the new speakers where the factory rear upgrade is placed in the rear storage compartments. This was not a tough job but it did require some ingenuity and patience. Now it's done. Well, now that's where I'm stuck. I have no clue how to get the speakers wired to the rear channels of the factory stereo. I assumed there was already a plug in the rear, which I can't seem to locate so I'm wondering where I can pull from to power these. Speakers are 2 pair, left wired in parallel for 2ohm as well. If that's an issue, I can change but since they're already 4ohm, I'm not sure series would be good. So, just need help locating the feeds to the left and right rear channels. Anyone have a simple solution or some schematics or pics that could help me out? Much appreciation! Chaiyz

2001 S model, I'm at 119k. No IMS issues, changed IMS with original last clutch, no wear on part with 112k. Main maint has been battery, brakes, clutch and cam chain guides. Changing out the original trans mounts and single motor mount tomorrow. I'd drive it to California without worries. Chaiyz
