  1. Took it to the dealer. Headlight switch bad, replaced. :clapping:
  2. Alride, Were you able to resolve your problem? What was the cause? I've got a 2002 boxster with litronic with the same issue. I'm going to take mine to the dealer. I hope it is still under warranty. I'm the third owner and I think the 4 years is up the end of may. I need to check in with the local dealer anyway to get a baseline on the car. I think both bulbs are blown also but I don't know what from. The switch does sound suspect.
  3. I just got nearly the same symptom, except that the high beams still operate. I've been driving home at night with the driving lights and fog lights on. Fuses all appear to be good too. Both low beams went out overnight, driving home was fine, next morning, gone. Almost seems like the headlight switch, but everything else is working. This is a 2002 Boxster S, 6 speed. Mike I've got the same problem. I just purchased a 2002 boxster and on the way home as it was getting dark I turned on the lights and parking only. I cycled (pulled) the switch out a couple of times to the fog and rear fog position and then the low beams came on. I ran a while on low and took the turn/beam switch on the column to high and the lights went out. Now I have no low beam, highs come on in passing mode (pulling on turn signal switch but pushing to high nothing. I ran home on my fog lights and parking lights. Did you get a solution to your problem? I have the litronic I think.
