  1. Hello to the forum members. RE: - 1997 Boxster Has anyone successfully repaired the black (slightly rounded clips) that break off over time - for the mesh wind deflectors or found a push on clip that looks good, that will securely hold the deflectors on? I've tried glue but eventually the clips break off again. Thanks King Kappa
  2. If your convertible roof won't open or close. Make sure the park brake is on and the P light is displayed (lit) on the dash. If the park brake is on but there is no dash light - put your foot on the brake - press the button on the park brake (hold it in) and lift and lower the park brake as many times as required until you see the P light displayed on the dash. Release the button on the park brake when you see the light. This should be able to get you out of trouble - if the park brake microswitch is playing up. Cheers King Kappa
  3. Hi I've found that not latching the convertible roof properly (The handle - latch thing sitting above the top of the windscreen between the mirrors) on my 1997 Boxster causes one window not to function when the window button is used on the centre console or the key is turned for 5 seconds in the door with the offending window. (Try unlatching and relatching the roof - make certain the roof is seated correctly in the right and left window frames) - ie the wire cable in the roof sits on the inside of the frame. I guess a dodgy microswitch in the roof latch could also cause this,, but imagine you would see a light on the dash.
  4. Hi - I've found one more and added a modified image. Hope this helps Cheers King Kappa
  5. Hello to the forum members and Shelby427uk. The soldering on this PCB board has some short circuits on it and it is - new soldering. Also remove flux (The brown stuff left after soldering) with a toothbrush and some iso alcohol so the pcb is clean. See attached image. All the best.
