  1. Hi Rex, I just fixed (August 13, 2019) the Right Rear regulator on my 2003 996 Cabrio. There's a company in Phoenix, AZ named "Power Window Repair" who rebuild regulators for all types of cars. I removed and shipped ($38 insured via UPS ) the failed regulator and four days later received a phone call from Derek confirming Power Window Repair received the package. Less than 24 hours later, they (Cynthia) called again letting me know the repair was completed and needed payment ($199 + $20 for UPS shipping). Basically, they replaced "all" of the plastic parts with machined billet aluminum parts including higher gauge cabling. This is how Porsche should have designed in the first place. I was impressed with their communication and more importantly, their workmanship is outstanding!!! @Rex, I found Porsche's diagram and steps a little cryptic but still managed to get it done. Let me know if you want some help and I'll be glad to FaceTime, Skype, whatever.
