  1. inconsistent rough idle and a feeling of lacking power or missing. The way those hall sensors work is interesting, when it ran the worst it would start fun and run fine til over 1k rpm or something then when I eventually decelerated it would be very rough because I assumed the cps wasnt sending updated rpm speed info to the engine
  2. I had similar issues after replacing plugs and coils finally got to the camshaft position sensors, 1 time i got a phantom code for them so i investigated. I did the same optimistic thing and cleaned my camshaft position sensors then it ran even slightly worse (I am not sure about if this helps now that I know how hall sensors work) replaced it and it is fine now btw mine is also an 05
  3. Hah I bet I have your answer my friend ! On my last Audi I had similar problems with a few circuits on the driver door not working. The broken connections are in the wires harnessed between the door and the fender, I spent some time looking around and it is an incredibly common issue with Audi b6's and probably more. The wires on this harness that I could find for no cheaper than 185$ were so thin that I would not expect them to last more than a few years installed on a part that gets bent every time the door is opened, Thankfully my initial inspection on my cayenne make me feel like thinker wires were used. If you are careful enough you can re-pin the keys and put your own quality wires in case you just want a cheap fix go ahead and cut and splice. There ya go, a problem on your porsche fixed for almost free
