  1. Hi all,

Can't seem to get rid of fault code P1376. It can be reset, but comes back within a few days. (Car seems to run fine)

The local independent garage hooked up their PIWIS and verified the P1376 code - said it was something to do with cylinder #8?

Has anyone else experienced this - and if so, what was the fix? Any tips/advice is appreciated!

  2. Hello Spoon,

It sounds like you have done a pretty good job in troubleshooting... My hat is off to you! 🤠

    Since you know:

    1. the fuse is good

    2. mirror adjustment motor is good

    3. folding motor works in both directions when it gets 12V

    4. zero volts at the motor plug

    5. buttons all work

The only thing you have not yet tried, is placing the passenger side adjustment motor in the drivers side position to see if it works. (don't bother)

My educated guess is that it won't work because you definitely have faulty driver's side door wiring... Nice weekend job!

Just an update , the little LED is not available on its own even though the part can be removed easily from the door trim . So if you want a flashing LED it only comes with the door panel at £1200 + Vat (20%) , i dont think i will bother.

    K

False - it can be ordered separately.  It looks like the part number is 7PP919238 (possibly with "A" or "B" at the end). Could you verify?

If so, they can be purchased for less then €10.

The other option is to replace the LED yourself, but I'm not sure of the level of your fine-motor skills or patience.. 😉

  4. Might need to ask my garage to look into it... Just never experienced a “comfort” ride after purchasing it second-hand, and since this is my first “modern” Porsche - I just wanted to know if this request would be worthwile, or if I’m dreaming. I would hate to throw money into something that is normal... Any other Cayenne owners out there that confirm there is really a difference?

On a side note: I have 21” wheels, and I understand that will also influence the ride comfort due to the lower profile tire.

  5. Sprocket,

I also have a 2011 Cayenne S and had the same issue. I ordered a set of four Tire Pressure Monitors (including new Valve Stems for TPM) from Suncoast Porsche. You will have to provide your VIN number to verify you have the proper frequency. Worked immediately!

They come in either 315 MHz or 433 MHz. If you order the wrong frequency they won't work. Your local dealer can also tell you which frequency your Cayenne requires.

I wish I would have seen the partsgeek.com link earlier - much cheaper there!
