  2. Might need to ask my garage to look into it... Just never experienced a “comfort” ride after purchasing it second-hand, and since this is my first “modern” Porsche - I just wanted to know if this request would be worthwile, or if I’m dreaming. I would hate to throw money into something that is normal... Any other Cayenne owners out there that confirm there is really a difference? On a side note: I have 21” wheels, and I understand that will also influence the ride comfort due to the lower profile tire.
  3. After reading this thread, I thought to myself - ?hmmmmm my 2011 Cayenne S also doesn't seem to ride any differently regardless of the suspension settings (it's ALWAYS hard) Comfort, Normal & Sport. Is it really supposed to ride smoothly in the comfort mode? Asking for my kidneys.... ?
  4. Are you referring to the Manifold Pressure/Vacuum Sensor? If so, it is located on the top rear section of the intake manifold.
  5. Bill, Mine also stays on for a short period after shifting to Drive. I believe it is switched off after reaching a certain forward speed. After further research, I see that I am correct!   7. Sprocket, I also have a 2011 Cayenne S and had the same issue. I ordered a set of four Tire Pressure Monitors (including new Valve Stems for TPM) from Suncoast Porsche. You will have to provide your VIN number to verify you have the proper frequency. Worked immediately! They come in either 315 MHz or 433 MHz. If you order the wrong frequency they won't work. Your local dealer can also tell you which frequency your Cayenne requires. I wish I would have seen the partsgeek.com link earlier - much cheaper there!
  8. Speaking of when the transmitter batteries go bad - if one WERE to replace the transmitters with new ones, is a PIWIS necessary, or should it automatically sense them after driving a few miles?
  9. Interestingly enough, there isn't much information out there! I did come across a Porsche Rear Seat Entertainment (PRSE III) Display Unit Replacement for a 2011 Panamera though... I will PM it to you...

  12. Hello Andre, I too had a very similar problem with my 2011 Cayenne S V-8. My wife was driving when she saw a red warning message "Suspension System Defective", and the front suspension was very low - just like you described. Had it towed to the dealer, and they ended up changing a defective........... Cylinder Ignition Coil? That was in January - haven't seen that issue show up since. Who would have thought that the malfunctioning coil was causing enough EMI to produce that type of failure???? Not me. Maybe something similar on yours?

I found the online version of the Porsche Primary Owners Manual and also the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) Owners Manual for my 2011 Cayenne S on the Porsche USA website: http://www.porscheownersmanuals.com/2011-cayenne-manual/table-of-contents While it isn't exactly a hardcopy, it still has all of the information.
  14. Well, I just tried to PM Porschelibrarian and got the following error, "Porschelibrarian cannot receive messages." How can one go about getting the WSM for a 2011 Cayenne S - 92A?
  15. CaptainDave, Very simple via the "Scouser's VIN Decoder" which is found under the "Documents" tab. Enter your VIN and look at #7, 8 & 12.
