  1. Check the fuse for the cigarette lighter. That was the issue on my ‘06 Boxster. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Thanks. No idea which issue it might be. I’ll have to see which ones I can diagnose on my own. No $$$ at the moment to pay the dealer to look into it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. My 2006 Boxster with 113,900 miles on it is returning these two error codes. I googled it and see all kinds of conflicting answers. Has anyone run into this? Is it an easy fix? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. That explains it. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I've got just under a 5 mile drive to work on 2 lane roads. During the winter when the temps are really cold, the engine in my '06 Boxster (non S) doesn't get warm in the time it takes to get to work, so there's no heat (love the heated seats!). If there's snow in the forecast, I'll drive my wife's '99 BMW Z3 with all season tires. The Z has a 2.5 liter straight 6 and I'll have heat less than half way to work. I'm wondering why the 2.7 liter flat 6 engine in the Boxster takes so much longer to warm up. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. I was afraid of that. Non Porsche replacements online are $400 - $700. Think I can live with a misaligned high beam. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. My right side low beam light and driving light both went out within a few weeks of each other. A friend and I (mostly him) were replacing them the other night and thought we'd pull the high beam bulb to see how it looked. It appeared fine. While trying to replace it, we had to push quite hard to get the washer to compress hard enough to reseat the bulb. This plastic holder/reflector broke at the two screws that hold it in place. We epoxied the reflector back in place the best we could. It appeared to be aligned ok. After letting the epoxy set for a couple of days, I installed the headlight assembly today. I drove the car tonight for the first time and tried out the high beams. The reflector is clearly not aligned. There's a hot spot on the road about 15 feet in front of the car on the right side. Can a new reflector be purchased and easily installed? It doesn't appear to be something easy to access. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
