  1. Thanks Loren, I was able to get the panel halfway off, the panel that runs under the rear window was stopping it from coming off completely but it was enough for me to remove and replace the bent clip.
  2. 99 996 Coupe I have a very annoying squeak coming from the trim that runs down the passenger side of the rear window. I know what's causing the problem but cant get the trim off to fix it. One of the metal clips that attaches the trim to the body has been bent over instead of clipping over the metal. I can see it if I remove the trim surrounding the seat belt apperture. Any ideas on how to take that trim panel off and how many other bits need to come off to enable this. Thanks.
  3. This is my first post, hope I've done it correctly. I had the same problems with my 99/996, the dealer relaced the knobs only, radio was out for two weeks. The new knobs are made from a softer compound, last weekend I noticed that these are starting to break down as well. They are not splitting but are sticky. Cant be removed. Becker have replacements. They say their own version of the CDR220 does not have this problem so they dont have spares for theirs, only the Porsche design knob. Great forum, should be required reading at Porsche Germany.
