I concur with Nick; I added the PNP speakers and just adjusted the fader/balance. The sound is a big improvement (worth the $225 off eBay), though I did more for my son when he rides with me. Otherwise, I prefer to listen to the car!

You can't beat Pagid Organge pads. I've been using them for over 10 years on my 911s and have nothing but praise for them. I don't track my Boxster S, but the weight is comparable to my '93 RS America and the Pagids truly do last (rotor friendly, too). My '73 RS (wannabe) weighs only 2150 lbs, so Pagids last a long time on the front and the rears seem to never need changing!

I concur. My '02 S sits alot and the battery finally died, probably because I did not use a charger. A quick trip to the dealer cost me $204 for a new one, however, I've heard the maintainers sometimes "overcharge" the batteries causing additional problems. Even though they sense the charging level, they may not be totally accurate? JM -
I recently installed the PNP rear speaker kit. The kit requires a wire harness to be threaded thru the passenger side door sill where airbag controls are. In addition, you do need to pull out the radio to get the harness attached. I always disconnect the battery whenever I am fooling with electrical connections. BTW, you'll like the kit; really changes the sound system (though I rarely use it because I enjoy the sound of the car!) JM

Wish I could hear/see your video, as I have a Fabspeed exhaust on order for my '02 S. The stock system is just too quiet for my taste. My '73 911 has headers and a modified Dansk, so talk about extremes!
