  1. Since I purchased my 2008 cayenne I've had intermittent no start problems with the car. It has left me stranded a couple of times. Come back to the car after parking and nothing happens when you turn the key. If the car is scanned the steering lock faulty code comes up. I spoke with Tom at Speedosolutions about rebuilding the steering lock. He told me that the cayennes with the entry and drive system will throw the steering lock code when the kessy is dying. He said if the car starts after disconnecting and reconnecting the battery it is a kessy fault. I had the local dealer replace the kessy p/n 955 618 036 05 and recode it (after convincing the service manager that I didn't want him to troubleshoot the problem). Since then the car has not failed to start once. 😀 I hope this will help others with the same problem.
  2. I am trying to find the part numbers for the exterior door handles on a 2008 base Cayenne with the entry and drive system. I've found several places that have them but the part numbers for the keyless and non keyless entry handles are mixed up on different sites. Can someone confirm which are the correct numbers? Thanks
  3. Hello, I was wondering if there is any way to see how long until the next service interval? This is the first car I've owned where that information seems to be hidden from the driver.
  4. It actually sounds similar to a problem I had with my 944. The fuel pump died and was replaced. Then the car started having surging issues at wot. It turns out the fuel filter was clogged which fried the pump, the pressure regulator and pulse damper. The shop found it by taking it for a drive with a pressure gauge on the fuel rail.
