  1. Do you know of any other (aftermarket) CARB-legal tunes that'll get rid of this issue, ones that will offer performance gains as well? Car has headers, CAI, IPD plenum & under-drive pulley. It'll also be getting a torque-biasing diff and lightweight flywheel when I have the new clutch installed in the next couple of weeks...
  2. Hello, all. I've recently had to clear a p1130 CEL on my '00 996. After doing the OBD-II drive cycle a couple of times, all the readiness monitors are now set save for the secondary air pump one. With the help of another forum member (Ahsai), some troubleshooting and some research (here and on rennlist), it seems that it has all come down to driving the car and putting a few more miles on it to get the monitor to get into ready status. However, I've now logged over 430 miles on the car and the status still shows as incomplete. Before I throw in the towel and bring it to a dealer, would someone have any other suggestions that I could perhaps try? FWIW, the CEL was triggered during crawl-speed, stop-and-go traffic. The last time the same CEL code occurred over a year ago, I cleared it and the readiness monitors were all cleared, including the SAI pump one. There haven't been any changes made to the car since then and less than 3k miles have been put on it since that last CEL episode. The only thing that is different this time around is that I am feeling the pressure of a deadline; the car needs pass to emissions in order to renew the registration which is expiring in a few days. While I understand that I can renew the registration without the smog certificate to avoid the penalty, I'm still going to have to get the SAI readiness monitor issue sorted...hence the request for assistance. That said, I'd truly appreciate any and all suggestions any of the more experienced members can offer. Thanks in advance! Glenn
