Hi I have recently replaced my MAF but im pretty sure my AOS is gone aswell the car runs better with then new MAF but idle is still rough and there is oil on the top of the engine under the AOS and oil in the pipe to the throttle has loads of oil in it so looks like been gone for some time my question is has the AOS gone and what is the part number Ross
  3. both my mirrors are electric and heated so it must be one of the others but what the hell is C25 then it is an english car

  5. i did but there is no C codes on there when i get home i will get all my option codes but im sure i could not find the country code anywhere i have the paperwork from the sale it it was bought from porsche in england

  7. the original lightronics use expensive halogen side light bulbs can you get led versions og them they are not 194 i think they are 242's or something thay are about £5 (uk) a bulb and shine yellow which spoiles the HID
  8. Option Codes Lookup C24 = New Zealand maybe its c23 then c22 is uk right

  12. i have the same problem i have never had a chime but my light worked now it doesnt if you fiddle with the buckle it comes on for a second so i guess i need a new buckle
  13. hi thanks for the reply when the ac is switched on the pump kicks in as the revs at idle lower for a second could this be something to do with it also when they charged it for a second time it worked fine for a couple of weeks then all of a sudden was empty again when i asked them about it they said something about a purge valve that maybe faulty
  14. the right hand one doesn't seem to be aligned to me the light seems to be hitting the reflecter thats round it where as the other one is going straight out HID lights colour changes depending on the angle they are viewed at i think
  15. If you think it is your MAF disconnect it i have been running my car without it connected as it had flat spots and seemed like the throttle was sticking the revs would hold really high got a new one on order

Hi I had an issue with my boxster 1998 2.5 manual last summer and now summer is coming again all be it a long way away i want to get i fixed. i had the air conditioning recharged last summer then drove to wales where i didn't use it when i came back (I live in essex) the air con wasn't working took it back to where it got recharged they tested it and said there was no coolant left in the system so they recharged it they vacuum tested it and said there was no cracks it seemed to have purged itself anyone encountered this or no what to do the other thing is on my climate control if i set it to auto the ac comes on no matter what the temp is outside to my understanding it is only supposed to come on when the temp is over 3 degress thanks in advance Ross
  17. sounds like a starter motor fault like the cog not retracting fast enough best take it to a specialist
  18. hi I have a leak. i noticed there was some mould or mildew on the carpet behind the passenger seat and when i wiped i noticed the carpet was wet. i lifted the carpet up and there was a puddle underneath. has anyone else experienced this or know how to fix it boxster 2.5 manual 98
  19. it was the rubber gromit that the washer motoer for the windscreen pushes into modified it and no leak
  20. no its a 98 manual with TC climate memory seats is it not possible to do on a 98 car
  21. still answering my own questions all i need is where can i get the connectors plus the extras for the extra wires and a wiring diagram im based in england but anywhere that has email will do Cheers its good to see other people who like pushing the envelope on what can be done to a car
