  1. The black bumperette (rear black bumper guard) fell off for some reason and is lost. .... 2000 Carrera 4. Anyone know of a web part replacement site?
  2. I've had a 2000 Porsche Carrea 4 for over a year, and the CD player has never worked. It's a Becker 1 CP2081 Type 4462 I keep getting a 'no CD' message but there are CD's in the tray. Is there any config on the head unit I need to do? Any debugging steps you know of? How do I get the head unit, and CD holder out of the dash to check the wiring? Thanks.
  3. I have a 2000 Porsche carrera 4 and never got the radio code. I unplugged the battery and am stuck with a non-working radio. How do I get the code? I held down the TP button and got this info Becker 1 CP2081 Type 4462 x5028275 48/98 I believe x5028275 is the serial number. Any ideas what the code is? Thanks.
  4. Yes the same thing just happened to me. Here's the scenario. I put in 87 octane gas for the last few weeks. No problems with that, including the use of the first half of a tank (see later). I parked on Friday, had heavy rains and damp cool weather over the weekend, on Monday when I took it out the car sputtered on acceleration and seemed to be running out of gas, but seemed to not misfire at low revs and at 30-45 mph. At lunch I went out to the car and started it up and had no problems. The car revved nicely and pulled up to speed without problem. I put in a bottle of stp and filled up the remaining half tank with 89 just to be safe. The car is running fine now. Possibly water was sucked in somehow over the weekend or at startup. Possibly the gas was bad, but the first half tank was fine which is difficult to understand. Possily some sensor was corroded or affected by the weather that a 20 minute drive rectified. Possibly the use of 87 gas has a cumulative negative effect.
